Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
This year our message is 'The Great Reset," and our message for February is "Factory Reset."
A factory reset is when a device is restored to the way it was when it left the factory.
The other day we talked about how in 2 Chronicles 24 the temple of God was restored to the original design... And we are God's temple now.
Jeremiah 30:17 says, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD.
Isaiah 38:16 says, "You restored me to health and let me live."
In today's communion we are asking God to restore our bodies to His original design for us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
We often know what to do but fail to take action. If we want a factory reset in our body it requires taking action. When we get started God starts working with us. Remember these 2 questions... "What do I know to do?" and "What can I do?"
I am praying for you.

Hey everyone!
Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update communion meditation
It seems like every year in February God reminds me how important our emotions are for our health.
Emotions are the translators between our spirit and physical body.
Emotions can be felt when they are stirred into the system.
Emotions are meant to give us feedback so that we can make adjustments.
Emotions will let us know when we are believing something that isn’t true.
And we can use negative emotional states as a cue to make adjustments. When we view emotions from this perspective, they are not good or bad. They’re simply feedback, allowing us to accelerate our progress by making adjustments.
I am convinced that germs don’t make us sick. We are exposed to germs all the time. Take a look back at the last time you were sick, and I can almost guarantee that you were in some kind of negative emotional state a few days before you were sick. These states lower our immune system, mak...
Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Revelation 14:13 says, "Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
The phrase, " Their deeds will follow them," really stands out to me.
I think of this kind of like investing into things that compound and earn passive income.
The good things that we do will keep working and compounding even when we are resting.
In today's communion we are asking God to teach us about this verse and help us keep doing good even when we don't see the fruit right away.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
It takes stringing together a lot of good meals and workouts to see true transformation. It doesn't happen right away, and there can be the tendency to give up too early before your deeds have had the chance to compound. If you are doing the right things.... Keep going bec...
Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately I keep thinking about the balance of paying attention to numbers/stats while also being focused on executing well
Sometimes we can get so focused on numbers that we lose track of executing the right way.
It could be stats at work, bodyweight, repetitions or lifts in workouts, finances, etc.
In sports whenever I focused on the stats the stats usually didn't end up very good.
But, when I focused on executing well the stats took care of themselves.
This reminded me that it was after the people entered the promised land that they were to start counting the years of the Sabbaths.
And it was after the Sabbath that they were to start counting the days until Pentecost.
Recently, we've talked a lot about the Sabbath, and I think there's a connection to the Sabbath rest and counting.
After we enter into the rest, then we count and see how we did.
Execute first... Then track how you did.
In today...

A week or so ago my wife's phone wouldn't work. It wouldn't turn on or charge.
So, she took it to the phone store, and they did a factory reset on her phone, which got it working again.
A factory reset, is when the device is reset to the original state as when it left the factory or manufacturer.
In 2 Chronicles 24:13 the people were restoring God's temple, and it says,
"They restored the Temple of God according to its original design and strengthened it."
Our bodies are God's temple now, and he wants to help us be restored to His original design for us.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us be restored to his original design.
I am praying for you.

Revelation 5:9 says, " And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation."
Think about this for a moment... Jesus purchased us for God with his blood.
His currency was blood.
I've heard some people say that the currency in Heaven is faith, but faith in what... The blood of Jesus.
We were bought at a price.
In today's communion we are asking God to teach us about how we were purchased with the blood of Jesus.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
The life of the flesh is in the blood. Blood brings oxygen, nutrients, and life to the cells of the body. Therefore, good circulation is one of the most important aspects of health. Improving mobility is a great way to improve circulation.
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
The other day we talked about how Paul told Timothy to continue in the things he had learned and become convinced of.
And we talked about Romans 4:21 which is about Abraham. It says, " He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises."
We also said that in Hebrew the word for "rebuke or convince, "can also mean to "give clarity."
In Revelation 3:19 Jesus said, "Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent."
The word used here for "reprove," can also be translated as "bring into the light."
And the word for discipline can also be translated as "teach, train, or educate."
So we could also read this verse as... Those I love, I bring into the light to train them, so that they can be excited to do things differently.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that Jesus brings us into the light so that we can see clearly what to do.

Isaiah 1:18 says, " Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool."
The Hebrew word for "reason together," is the same word that means "convince," or "gain clarity."
In life we face decisions about which way to go, and God wants to give us clarity on his direction for us.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us reason together with him so that we gain clarity on the direction he has for us.

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update communion meditation
It seems like every year in February God reminds me that we are a 3 part being... Spirit, soul, and body.
We often get focused on the physical aspects of health like nutrition and fitness, but the spiritual and emotional aspects are probably more important.
Health is a skill... simple habits that we grow in over time.
And a big part of health is developing our spiritual, mental, and emotional habits.
Things like Bible reading, prayer, gratitude, peace, and community are hard to measure but they play a big role in health.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the way God designed us and to make any adjustments in our habits so that we can be abundantly healthy... Spirit, soul, and body.
I am praying for you.

Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
The other day we talked about how Paul told Timothy to continue in the things he had learned and become convinced of.
And yesterday we talked about Romans 4:21 which is about Abraham. It says, " He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises."
As I was thinking about this Proverbs 28:23 kept coming to mind. It says, "Whoever rebukes a person will in the end gain favor rather than one who has a flattering tongue."
At first glance this verse doesn't have anything to do with becoming convinced but when I started to dig a little deeper, I discovered some interesting things.
The word for 'rebuke," in Hebrew can mean rebuke, reprove, correct, judge, or convince. And I came across some Hebrew teaching that says it can also mean "give clarity."
The word for "flattery," is usually translated as divide in Hebrew.
So we could read this scripture something like... Whoever gives a person clarit...
