Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we said that Jesus has been exalted to God's right hand.
Colossians 3:1 says, " If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God."
And Ephesians 2:6 says," And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus."
Part of resetting our frequency this month is setting our heart and mind on the things above.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us set our heart and mind on the things above where we have been seated with Christ.

The emotions or feelings we have in our body usually lead to how we feel. Keep stirring in peace and joy every day.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Last week was Pentecost ... A reminder we've been given the gift of the Holy Spirit.
In Acts 2:33 it says, " Exalted to the right hand of God, Jesus has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear."
We see the progression here being... Jesus was exalted by God, then he received the Holy Spirit, and he poured the Spirit out on us.
If you read on in Acts chapter 2 it says that when the people heard this they were cut to the heart and wanted to know how to be saved.
This time of year is a reminder of God's pruning, how he cuts us back and lifts us up by the Spirit at the same time.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that Jesus has been exalted to God's right hand and has poured the Spirit out to us.

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update communion meditation.
It seems like every year at this time God reminds me of a story one of our partners taught me about being lifted up by the Spirit.
In John 15:1-2 Jesus said, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful."
The Greek word for prune can also be translated as lift up. People will often argue whether God prunes us or lifts us up, but the answer is both.
The partner told a story of pruning and lifting up at the same time. There was a tree with branches that were hanging low, and a tree specialist trimmed off the smaller branches that were protruding out. As he did this it removed some of the weight on the branch and the branch began to immediately lift higher without having to cut the whole thing off. The branch was both pruned and lifted up...

A few days ago was Pentecost ... A reminder we've been given the gift of the Holy Spirit.
And yesterday we looked at Acts 4:31 which says, "And when the disciples had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
This verse reminded me of Luke 6:38 where Jesus said, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
The phrase shaken together comes from when merchants would pour grain into someone's garment. They would shake the garment with the grain to create more room to fill the garment with even more grain.
When the disciples prayed, God shook the place so that there was more space he could fill in them with Holy Spirit.

Acts 4:31 says, "And when the disciples had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
In the Bible there are several scriptures about God shaking things, and one of the themes is that he shakes things for the benefit of his people.
Shaking things up provides a fresh start and a reset, which can allow a greater level of His power to flow.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that we can be filled with the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 1:8 Jesus said about Pentecost, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that we've been given power, and we are asking God to help us receive the power of the Holy Spirit we've been given.

1 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
This month we've been talking about resetting our frequency, and a big part of this is having a sound mind and thinking on the right things.
Colossians 3:2 says, "Set your mind on the things above."
And Philippians 4:8 says, " Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update communion meditation.
Pentecost is coming up on June 12th. This year some of you may have already celebrated Pentecost at your church, and that is because this year the Christian and Jewish calendars are a few weeks different.
Usually, Passover and Easter are very close on the calendar, but this year Passover was a few weeks after Easter and the timing of Pentecost is based on Passover/Easter.
This time of the year is a reminder to be unified. Before the Day of Pentecost all of the believers were united and of one accord.
This time is also a reminder that we've been given the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide us and empower us.

Here is today's communion meditation.
This month our message is "Reset the Frequency."
Changing the frequency reminds me of changing the channel on a TV or radio. We can reset what we tune into.
Part of tuning into God is learning to hear His voice, and Jesus said that his sheep know his voice.
Psalm 29 talks a lot about the Lord's voice. Here is a small passage on his voice from Psalm 29:3-4, " The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic."
In today's communion we are asking God to help us tune into his voice.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Work on increasing your presence in your workouts. Focus on one rep at a time. Think of 10 reps as 1 rep ten times.
