Good morning!

This week we are starting something new... We are going to have an Abundant Life Accelerator to focus on each day of the week.

(You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here)

Today is Transformation Tuesday

Tuesday is going to be a reminder that the way to get to the next level in anything is to make the most of your current level.

Make it a goal to transform every environment you go into...

We can transform our spiritual environment by beholding the glory of God.

We can transform our inner world by renewing our mind to God's love and truth.

We can transform our home, workplace, etc by creating more order and bringing peace and joy into the environment.

Here is today's communion meditation.

This month we are talking about Resetting the Imagination.

Handling Pressure

Uncategorized Aug 10, 2024

Listen to the Podcast

Hey everyone!

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle communion meditation.

August is hot, and it's a time when you may experience some pressure.

If you are experiencing an increase in pressure right now, trust that it's part of the plan.

When we handle pressure correctly, God uses it to accelerate us into the next level of what he has for us.

God will use the pressure to mature us, so that we get to the point where we are consistent, even under pressure.

If you are under pressure one of the best things you can do is keep your eyes up, and look for opportunities to be a blessing to others.

When we are under pressure the tendency is for us to focus on ourselves, but when we are looking for opportunities to be a blessing it will help us accelerate out of the pressure.

Another way to help handle pressure is going for walks with God. This will help you keep your focus and gain clarity.

I am praying for you.

Daniel

As He Promised

Listen to the Podcast

Good morning!

Here is today's communion meditation.

This month we are talking about Resetting the Imagination.

Part of resetting our imagination, is seeing on the inside that we have God's blessing and favor, because of the righteousness of Jesus.

In Deuteronomy 1:11 Moses said, "May the LORD, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised!"

God's blessing is his empowerment, it's like an engine that can propel us forward and increase us.

Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God has blessed us in Christ, and we are asking for his blessing to power us forward like an engine and increase us.

Everything You Put Your Hand To

Good morning!

Here is today's communion meditation.

This month we are talking about Resetting the Imagination.

And one thing we can reset our imaginations to is that God is blessing our work and the things we put our hands to.

Deuteronomy 15:10 says, " Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to."

In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand that because of Jesus he is blessing the work of our hands.

The Blessing of the Lord

Listen to the Podcast

Good morning!

Here is today's communion meditation.

This month we are talking about Resetting the Imagination.

And I think a great scripture for us to help reset our imaginations is Proverbs 10:22. It says, "The Blessing of the Lord makes rich without painful toil."

In Christ, we have God's blessing because we've been made right with God. And His Blessing empowers us to prosper by his grace and not through our painful toil.

This doesn't mean we don't work, but we work as the Spirit leads.

Think about Peter fishing/toiling all night and catching nothing. But with one word from Jesus, he caught more fish than he had ever caught before.

In today's communion we are asking God to help us walk in His Blessing. Let the breaking of the bread be symbolic of breaking any patterns of not trusting in God's Blessing to empower us and of toiling away for money. And let the taking of the cup be an activation of trusting in God's blessing to provide for us.

Speak, Lord

Listen to the Podcast

Good morning!

Here is today's communion meditation.

Lately I've been thinking about the story of when the Lord first speaks to Samuel. It says in 1 Samuel 3 that "the word of the Lord hadn't been revealed to Samuel yet."

God was speaking to him, but he didn't know it was him.

Then the priest Eli told him to say, "Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening."

Proverbs 8 says we are blessed when we listen to God and wait in his doorways/gates.

And Jesus said that his sheep know his voice.

In today's communion we are asking the Lord to speak. Let's let the breaking of the bread be symbolic of breaking any patterns of not listening and doing things our own way. And let the taking of the cup be an activation of us listening for the Lord consistently.

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

To get long term results consistency and variety are both needed.

I am praying for you.

Reset the Focus

Listen to the Podcast

Hey everyone!

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle communion meditation.

This month we are talking about Resetting Your Imagination.

And part of what determines what's playing in your imagination is what your focused on.

August is a reminder to reset our focus. Sometimes in the summer months we can drift off track slightly, and this is a good time to reset your focus.

But what do we reset to?

Let's reset our focus off of ourselves and onto what's happening for the people around us.

This takes resting and trusting that God will take of us. He can solve our problems a whole lot better than we can.

And as we do this it will make us more present and allow us to see opportunities to be a blessing.

I am praying for you.

Daniel

Fruitful in the Land

Listen to the Podcast

Good morning!

Here is today's communion meditation.

This month our focus is Resetting the Imagination.

When I think about the imagination the story of Joseph going from slavery to prison to the throne of Egypt keeps coming to mind.

After he became 2nd in charge in all of Egypt, he had two sons and it says in Genesis 41:51-52, " Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, saying, “God has made me forget all my hardship and all my father’s household.” 52 And the second son he named Ephraim, saying, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

Think about what had to happen in Joseph's imagination that he could forget the troubles he went through and become fruitful in the land of his suffering.

In a similar way God wants to make us forget our troubles and make us fruitful in the areas where we've struggled.

In today's communion we are asking God to help us reset our imagination in the areas of our struggles, and to make us fruitful in those areas.

August - Reset the Imagination

Listen to the Podcast

Good morning!

Today's communion meditation is for the month of August

This year our message/theme for the year is, "The Great Reset."

And our message for August is "Reset the Imagination

I like to think of the imagination as the table turner for the soul. Our soul consists of the mind, will, and emotions and I think the imagination is the most important aspect. All day long we have an ongoing video loop playing on the inside, and those images can be good, or they can be things that are hindering us.  The imagination is where we can create and draw inspiration to action.

In the story of the Tower of Babel(Genesis 11:6) we see the power of the imagination, when God said, "nothing they have imagined doing will be impossible for them."

And in the story of Noah we see that the world got to a place where "every imagination was evil continually."

In today's communion we are asking God to help us reset our imagination to his original design, so that we use our im...

Vision for Now

Uncategorized Jul 31, 2024

Listen to the Podcast

Good morning!

Here is today's communion meditation.

This month we've been talking about resetting and expanding your God given vision.

And yesterday we looked at Ezekiel 12:23-25 which says, "‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. 24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel. 25 But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay."

The context of this passage is talking about the negative vision God had given to the people because they were rebellious, but because we are in Christ, God wants to fulfill every good vision he has given us, and he wants to do it speedily, without delay.

If you keep reading in Ezekiel 12:26-28 it says, "The word of the Lord came to me: 27 “Son of man, the Israelites are saying, ‘The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.’28 “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Non...
