When He Broke It
Good morning!
Today is Thoughtful Thursday ( The Purpose & Community Accelerator)
(You can learn more about the 7 Accelerators here)
Today do something thoughtful for someone else. Connect them with something they need or do something to make their day.
This is the purpose and community accelerator.
We each have a unique gifting that is meant to serve the community of people around us, and one of the ways to do this is by looking for opportunities to help people with your gifts, talents, resources, network, etc.
Here is today's communion meditation.

Today is day 5 of the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread, which is a reminder of the righteousness of Jesus, that has been given to us as a gift.
Through the years of doing communion meditations, I've mostly used matza crackers, which are unleavened bread.
And something I have learned about unleavened bread is that it's messy when you break it.
Imagine breaking a saltine cracker in half...pieces and crumbs go everywhere.
Unleavened bread is a time of cleaning out the old to make room for the new, but sometimes the process of cleaning old things out can be messy in the short term.
Lately I've been thinking about how when the body of Jesus was broken for us, it was messy, but it led to life and order for us.
In 1 Corinthians 11:24 it says, "And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
In today's communion we are asking God to help us do something thoughtful today and we are asking him to teach us about the body of Jesus being broken into pieces and what the mess it created did for us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
If you are pressed on time, try breaking your workout into smaller pieces throughout the day.
I am praying for you.
