The Day of Favor

Good morning,

This is the day the Lord has made, let's rejoice in it and make today a masterpiece!

Today is Speak Life Saturday (The Faith Accelerator)

Focus on speaking life today... With the words that you speak and the tone you speak with. 

Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 

Let your speech always be seasoned with grace. 

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle communion meditation.

The last couple of days I keep seeing scriptures about God's favor, and I completely forgot that today is what God has showed me is a time to remember his favor.

When I wrote “7 Dates With Jesus,” I felt like God instructed me to make sure I recorded the date of July 19 and its link to favor. God’s favor is on us for a lifetime and it surrounds us like a shield. Favor equals opportunities. Be on the lookout for favor, opportunities, and divine appointments in this season. This day is also linked to seeing more clearly what God has called us to do. Be prepared to see something bigger in the next week.

Here are some of the scriptures to meditate on today:

Psalms 121:7-8, “The Lord will keep you from all evil, he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”

Psalm 5:12, "Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

Psalm 125:2-3: “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous.”

In today's communion we are asking God to help us speak life today and to walk in his favor at greater levels.
