The Boaz Principle
Here is today's communion meditation.
In the book of Ruth, there is a man named Boaz who promises to marry Ruth. Boaz is a very prosperous and Godly man who is going to be Ruth's kinsman redeemer since her husband had passed away. But before Boaz can marry Ruth there is a matter he must settle. There is another kinsman redeemer who is ahead of him in line. Boaz promises to resolve this issue and in Ruth 3:18, Ruth's mother in law Naomi tells her...
“Wait, my daughter, until you find out what happens. For the man will not rest until the matter is settled today.”
Boaz would not rest until the matter was settled that day. I think this is a very important principle of why Boaz was a prosperous and Godly man. When he knew what to do, he took action immediately.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand this principle that Boaz walked in, and to help us walk in this consistently.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Whenever you are lifting weights make sure to grip them firmly. The hands are made to secure things. When we grip the weights firmly it helps to strengthen the whole body.
