Gentleness

Uncategorized Mar 15, 2020

The other day I had the opportunity to have a discussion with Brian Waters from Providence Church on what we call the forgotten fruit of the spirit, gentleness.

Recently Brian was working out with me and he brought up Psalms 18:35 where David says God's gentleness made him great, which prompted a discussion on gentleness.

Here is some of what we discussed...

Gentleness and courage/boldness must be balanced.

In all decisions how can you use a more gentle approach.

Today a lot of people are promoting the harsh treatment of the body, but a gentle approach works better.

To be gentle means that we nourish and cherish.

A gentle answer turns away wrath.
