Flourishing in the House of God

Here is today's communion meditation.

 Psalm 52:8-9 says:

But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.

9 For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.

Notice that flourishing in the house of God and trusting in His unfailing love seem to be connected. We can trust in his love because it never fails and we can hope in his name because he is good. 

In today's communion we are asking to help us be consistently flourishing in his house because we trust in his unfailing love and hope in his goodness.

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

Remember to make your workouts beautiful and bring your best. These are two of the best verbal cues I have found to help me stay focused and more present during workouts.
